About the brown kiwi
The wrinkled hornbill is a large rainforest species with a deeply grooved casque and dark plumage. It inhabits lowland tropical forests, where it feeds mainly on fruit, supplemented with small animals.
Like other hornbills, it plays an important ecological role as a seed disperser.
