Whitley's Kitchen
Whitley's Kitchen is the perfect place to relax, refuel and enjoy a bite to eat during your visit. With spacious indoor seating and a plenty of outdoor tables, it's an ideal spot whatever the weather.
Choose from a tempting selection of freshly prepared hot food, including jacket potatoes, hot baguettes, loaded fries and nachos, alongside a variety of cold options such as freshly filled baguettes, crisp salads, fruit cups and delicious baked treats.
Young explorers are well catered for too, with a dedicated children's hot food menu and convenient sandwich boxes, each including a sandwich of your choice, Animal Adventures crisps and a small juice carton.

Lakeside Cabin
Located on the edge of our beautiful lake, the Lakeside Cabin offers a tasty selection of takeaway ice creams, hot & cold drinks and snacks. Just outside, you'll find our newly built lakeside patio, complete with plenty of seating and swings. Situated right next to the Central Plaza, it's the perfect place to meet family and friends, take a break between adventures, or simply relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

The Great Griller
Located next to our indoor soft play area, Jungle Fun, The Great Griller is the perfect stop for a quick bite to eat, whether you're grabbing lunch on the go or taking a break while the little ones burn off some energy. With a small outdoor seating area and plenty of takeaway options, it's an easy and convenient choice during your day at Paignton Zoo.
Our menu is packed with freshly prepared favourites, including juicy smash burgers, crispy chicken burgers, loaded breakfast baps, hot Cornish pasties, sausage rolls and more. Young explorers can enjoy chicken nuggets and fries, while lighter options such as fruit pots, yoghurt and granola are also available.
Fancy something sweet? Treat yourself to a scoop (or two!) of Carte D'Or ice cream, a classic Walls favourite, or one of our homemade ice cream cookie sandwiches. You'll also find a tempting selection of cakes, snacks, hot and cold drinks, and refreshing slushies.
New for 2026, Great Griller is also serving breakfast, making it the perfect place to start your zoo adventure with a freshly prepared breakfast bap, barista-made coffee and a selection of morning favourites before exploring the animals.

The Hangout
Take a break at The Hangout, our relaxed café in the heart of the Rainforests zone, perfectly positioned beside our large outdoor play area and nearby toilets. With plenty of outdoor seating, it's the ideal place to unwind while little explorers let off steam.
Choose from a selection of freshly filled crusty baguettes, toasted paninis, children's sandwich boxes and delicious churros, alongside a wide range of hot and cold drinks, refreshing slushies, Walls ice creams, Carte D'Or scooped ice cream and tasty snacks.

Savannah Cabin
Situated in the heart of our Grasslands zone, Savannah Cabin is the perfect place to recharge as you explore the furthest reaches of Paignton Zoo. Overlooking our expanding Savannah habitat and just a stone's throw from our cheetahs, it's an ideal stop to grab a drink or snack before continuing your adventure.
Pick up freshly filled crusty baguettes, hot Cornish pasties, sausage rolls, refreshing cold drinks, slushies and a selection of Walls ice creams to enjoy on the go. While the cabin is takeaway only, you'll find nearby picnic benches where you can sit back, relax and take in the views across one of the zoo's newest and most exciting habitats.
